  23. OS 3.x preference files are incompatible with early pref files. I'm surprised 
  24. the Installer didn't take care of this. Try:

  26. Rename SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive_OLD
  27. Or, delete SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive/pointer.prefs

  32. You aren't running any non-Com commodities or hacks, are you? NickPrefs is a 
  33. no-can-do with 3.x. There is a new PointerX to make the busy clock and an 
  34. updated ARQ that work with 3.x.
